Animal Rescue Efforts:

Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital understands that not only is it important to provide pet owners with information on vaccination and other medical procedures, but that present and prospective pet owners must be counseled about the behavioral needs of pets and the responsibilities of pet ownership.

We are taking additional measures to control the pet population through our participation in the Friends of Animals Spay USA low cost spay/neuter programs and our frequent contact with local animal shelters.   Here are just a few of the rescue shelters we do business with:

   - R.A.I.N. (Recycling Animals In Need)
   - Cat Guardians (A No Kill Animal Shelter for Cats)
   - Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois
   - C.I.L.R.A. (Central Indiana Lab Rescue & Adoption)
   - Bichon Rescue
   - PACT (Feral Cat)
